Hi Praveen,

You didn't say whether ot not you are a vegetarian

B12 is pretty much available in animal protein - if you're a strict vegetarian, it's not so widely available.

The two best plant sources are cited as being mushrooms and spirulina - but, as far as I know, the 'jury's still out' on this.

I'm a Naturopath

The first poster has given you a healthy dose of b12 (cobalamin) right there....... but there's one more thing .... you need to manage your stress levels and diet too .... as the b complex of vitamins are a water soluble complex and will be washed out by stress, most otc and prescription meds, excess amounts of processed sugar and processed salt, alcohol, sodas and soft drinks, caffeine and smoking .... also ensure you are getting sufficient supplies of calcium in your diet .... B12 needs calcium for effective assimilation ... so eat more green and salad vegies (all rich in both calcium and magnesium).... and of course calcium and B12 need vitamin D for effective assimilation ... vitamin D the sunshine vitamin... 20 mins daily of safe sun exposure will suffice .... or 3 servings weekly of fresh fish like salmon and sardines.
