Are there any supplement that contains Calcium?!
Question: Are there any supplement that contains Calcium?
We have a project and I am tasked to look for a specific supplement(st) that only contains the one element (calcium), NOT A MULTIVITAMIN.
are there any that u can share? if there is, what is the average cost for a daily supplement?
p.s. i've looked up about that but i can't find, i don't know, rather.
but i've seen calcium carbonate and citrate tho i am not sure if they are multivitamin, or not. can help?

Calcium carbonate and calcium citrate are compounds of Calcium. That is how elemental Calcium nutritional supplements are made or what the Calcium is derived/obtained from. Certain compounds are more easily digested or absorbed. Calcium compounds are considered a single mineral supplement - not a multi.
Some Calcium sources are not good, such as Calcium from Dolomite. If I am remembering right, aside from it being poorly absorbed there is a risk of lead contamination with Calcium from that source.
Taking Calcium or a Calcium compound by itself is something of a fool's errand however. Calcium needs the minerals Magnesium and Zinc to be properly utilized by the body as well as Vitamin D.
personal research
i use calcium citrate. it has to be combined with vitamin D to be absorbed effectively. any store or pharmacy sells this product.
