Question: Can anyone help!!! Looking for information about discontinuing respiridone/rispridal!?
I was on risperidone and I gained about 50 pounds. i just recently went completely off of it (tapered off of course) and I was wondering how long it will take to loose at least some weight. Any information about going off of this med is SO appreciated! Thanks so much guys!

I didn't gain any weight on it. If you gained the 50 pounds though, you are going to have to lose it the normal manner. You have to burn more calories than you consume. Decrease your calorie intake, eating healthy meals and exercise.
