My 5year old daughter is having acidity. She complains of stomach pain constantl!

Question: My 5year old daughter is having acidity. She complains of stomach pain constantly.?
Docor has given her prescription medication.

But, still, i want to know whether i can repair her damages via food apart from medication? Are there foods that can help her and what foods should i avoid giving her? I am a vegetarian.

Do you have any other suggestions for me?

I am deeply worried for my daughter.

Answers:

First and foremost get your daughter food allergy tested. You especially need to rule out a gluten allergy as acid reflux can be a symptom of that (children and adults alike) and it would be very harmful in the long run if there is no diet modification (i.e. a gluten free diet ) if there was a gluten allergy. That could lead to full blown celiac disease. Thus please get your daughter tested now.

The medication sounds like a temporary fix to mask a cause. Mastic gum, Manuka honey, ginger and DGL licorice (has to be DGL) are natural products that could help with acid reflux. But you need to get to the root cause. Find another doctor if necessary. And first and foremost insist on food allergy testing.

Very best wishes.

Digestive enzymes work very effectively with acid reflux and digestive issues. My favorite is Zypan from Standard Process. Be aware that food allergies can play a big role in digestive issues and it may be in her best interest to have a blood test that can show you if she's allergic to any specific foods, that way you know what to avoid. Probiotics can also play a big role in digestive health, especially in a child. Lact-enz is a very good probiotic from Standard Process as well. A lot of places offer them now too. Good luck!

Acid reflux is often caused by the Oesophagus being tight causing the stomach to sit high and irritate the diaphragm. This can cause a facilitated segment and affect the upper complex of the neck thus squeezing the vagus nerve. When it is being impinged it tends to over fire and acid secretions increase causing the reflux.
A paeditric osteopath or equivalent would be an excellent drug free option to treat her.
This is the kind of thing that usually resolves very quickly with just a few treatments.

Try the Ultimate Aloe juice from this website. It helped me a lot. Prescript medicine only cover the symptom. They do not cure the problem. Aloe juice help heal the stomach lining. My kids love it.
Take 2 caps each time when your daughter complain of stomach pain. Wait for 5-10 minutes. If still pain, 2 more caps. There is no harm to drink half bottle within an hour.
Try the strawberry kiwi flavor. Buy the 32 fl.oz. The 16 fl.oz is the concentrate one. You need to add water to it. The concentrate juice can also help mouth sore.

Try another doctor until you find one that can think beyond medication. She may be allergic to something she is eating. You should certainly avoid spicy food and any kind of pepper. Olive oil is okay but not other oils. Cabbage or beans may be causing her upset. Be careful with soy. She needs vitamin C but citrus juices are acidic and that is not good. My daughter was allergic to tomatoes. Nuts are another common allergen. Could she be lactose intolerant? Mangoes and strawberries can be a problem.
I truly hope you find some answers. Best wishes.

most health problems not caused by medicine, are due to nerve interference. see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor.
