The Multi Vitamin you are taking is most likely synthetic. Almost every kind is! Switch to a natural one and you should be back to normal. Read "The Maker's Diet" by Jordan Rubin. It's an awesome book that will change your life.

If the multi-vitamin contains a large dose of Vitamin C that will cause it. One of the side effects of high dose C is diarrhea, and one usually has to take less C until it doesn't happen anymore. Also, if it contains the mineral Calcium, that will also do the same thing. If you are only taking one vitamin you might want to take them every other day and see if that helps. If not, it may calm down after a few days but if it continues, you'll have to stop taking them and find another kind.

There are two supplements that you can take that will cause diarrhea in multi-thousand mg quantities: vitamin C and magnesium. Multivitamins just don't supply enough to do that.

Some people's stomachs are sensitive to multivitamins. Try a children's chewable.
