How to cure a cold fast? 10 points?!

Question: How to cure a cold fast? 10 points?
So, today I woke up with a crappy cold and I feel awful. I always get colds but I want to get rid of this one quick because of valentines day (sore throat and blocked nose how romantic) anyway I hate Orange juice so don't say that I can't really go buy medications or ingredients cause I'm only 13 and my mum isn't going shopping any time soon and I can't take any days off school because I have had so many off already..........so please help and I'll give you ten points? K, thank you :)

Answers:

Try Emergency-C its packed with vitamin C... Doesn't taste that great though. But if your mom isn't going to the store...

Gargle warm salt water several times a day.

If your mom has mint extract or Vapor anything - go smell that. Basically find something (natural) that smells really strong to try to open your nasal passages. You can even try a drop of cooking oil in your nostril. Yes, weird, but you are looking for quick home remedies right? Should open you up pretty good.

Feel better soon!

Drink fresh lemon or lime juice mixed with water several times a day or eat grapefruits, 2 or 3 per day. This will help change your body from acidic to a more neutral state and make it more difficult for germs to multiply. Also cook & eat as much fresh garlic as you can stand. I bake them in the oven or even the microwave oven until they are soft like a paste and then smear on toast. You can also chop fresh garlic and put on buttered bread and broil for garlic toast. This will get your cold until control within a day. Eat parsley to help neutralize the garlic breath or use breath mints.

There are things that help, but no cures. If you had a cure for the common cold you could make millions.

Well Raw Garlic and/or Onions is my answer, but it sounds like you would be worried about the odor.
