question about bladder/ urinary medications?!

i have frequent night urination and it has been oging on nonstop for 8 months, at night i would get up to urinate like 8-10 times and have had urine tests- no infection, my doctor suggested for me to take this medication, i forgot what its clalled but is said it could make ur urine turn orange and is used to help relieve frequent urination. i refused it. i have a question for those who have taken it, how long do u have to take it? is it long term? i mean if u stop taking the pill, will the urinary problems come back again?
