Is this a good Supplement/Vitamin combination?!

Question: Is this a good Supplement/Vitamin combination?
Hi,
I take supplements/vitamins every morning to live a little healthier. :-) I just was wondering if the combination of supplements/vitamins I take would be recommended or if there is something I should add or if there is something I take too much of (especially Vitamin D).
Btw, I am a 28 year old guy in good condition.
This is what I take daily:

Equate Men's Health Formula
Two capsules of fish oil (2400 mg fish oil)
Two capsules Triple Strength Cranberry Fruit
Three Magnesium Tablets (400 mg Magnesium, 15 mg Zinc)
Two Calcium Tablets (1200 mg Calcium, 800 IU Vitamin D)

Does this sound alright or should I change anything?

Thanks

As long as you are spreading those throughout the day (as in at least 4-6 hours between each dose of the same pills), you're just fine. You don't want to take more than 600 mg of Calcium at any given point in time as your body can't utilize more than 600 mg at a time. Also, Magnesium is good to take with Calcium because it helps the absorption of that Calcium. ;-)
So as long as you're taking 1 Fish Oil, 1 Cranberry, 1 Magnesium, 1 Calcium, and 1 multiple (or less than all those) at a time, you're just fine.

With that out of the way, most guys don't need to take Cranberry pills because it's more rare for them to have Urinary Tract issues, but if you've had them, it's not bad to take.
My only other concern is about the brand of multiple that you're using... Equate isn't known for the highest quality and I'm not sure if they use natural or synthetic (eg. crude oil) sources for their vitamins. You may want to check with them on the source for their vitamins as the synthetic sources can be detrimental to your health over time (Vitamin E is the biggest example, but anything from some of those bad sources aren't good).

As far as the Vitamin D question, most Americans are deficient on Vitamin D due to minimal sunlight exposure and pathetically low recommendations. The Vitamin D Council and most Vitamin D advocacy groups (for lack of a better term) recommend blood serum levels between 40-80 ng/mL, but too many are well below this. You can have your doctor do a blood test for Vitamin D levels to find out how much you need. Yes, it is fat soluble so you don't want to get too much, but it would take several thousand IU daily for months to get too much for most people... 1-2000 IU daily is normally recommended as a good optimal maintenance dose for most people, but the blood test would say how much you need specifically. Good luck and I hope I helped!

Both my husband and I take Natures Plus Source of Life for our multi-vitamin, it is awesome and we have both noticed an improvement in energy. If you compare this product to Equate you will notice a huge difference. Nature's plus uses high quality, natural ingredients and the percentages are much better too.
Fish oil and Vitamin D are great supplements to include.
Cranberry supplements are mainly used for prevention of urinary tract infections, most commonly in women. Some people say it is also good for the skin and for the lungs but if you are healthy, you can probably omit this one.
