Question: What is a natural way to get clear skin?
I am a 24-year-old male who suffers from a few skin issues. At first glance, my skin looks completely clear. However, up close I notice clogged pores and my skin has a roughness that will not go away. My skin becomes red and irritated very easily. I eat healthy, drink a lot of water each day, and try not to use products on my skin to avoid making the situation worse. My skin is very sensitive, and I would like to find a natural way to achieve clear, healthy, smooth skin. I feel fortunate not to have bad acne, however, my clogged, red, rough skin makes me feel extremely insecure. My job requires me to speak in front of people all the time, and my skin is a constant source of worry. I'm hopeful there is quick and reasonably cheap way to clear up my skin issues once and for all. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I agree with RavenAnaLolita, good advice. I would also take Brewer's Yeast tablets as a supplement and a really good vitamin like Source of Life Nature's Plus. Steam your face once a week to open the pores and then apply your face mask. You might try getting facials or going to the dermatologist as well.

I used to have REALLY bad acne. The big, red, deep painful ones, the small ones, the medium ones, the ones that last 10 days. You name it, I got them. I struggled with clearing my skin for 2.5 years. Trying every topical acne treatment out there- without success.
Finally, about 10 months ago, I started working out with a personal trainer, she suggested changing my diet. I tried it. I cut out sugar, processed foods and refined carbohydrates. Nothing white- rice, pasta, bread, potatoes, etc.. To my surprise, my skin cleared up magically! I always ate pretty healthy, so it was easy to make the cuts in sugar and bad carbs.
I also use herbal remedies for healing- Kelp, Horsetail and Dandelion are all known to help with skin disorders. Cod liver oil also is great for inflammation. My skin is now 95% clearer. I still get an occasional pimple, but they are much less severe and heal faster and are MUCH less painful. The cod liver oil also helps with scarring due to the high vitamin content and the healthy oils. You can get cod liver oil at any health food store, the better quality works best, but anything is better than nothing. The herbs can be bought online (bulkherbstore.com is where I order mine) or at some health food stores.
