How can I get a medical marijuana in Texas?!


Question: How can I get a medical marijuana in Texas?
I haven't been to see a doctor yet but I am planning to go soon. I don't have cancer or anything like that. I know that that is the main category of people who are given a prescription. I am really stressed out. I'm positive of that because I've looked up my symptoms and they all point to the same thing. I'm not one who usually takes medication but I feel like I'm going to have a mental break down if I don't do something soon. I can't swallow pills so there's really no use in me being prescribed them. I also don't want the side effects that come with them. I like the idea of medical marijuana because it's an all natural cure. nobody's messed with it or put anything in it. the problem is i don't know how i would go about talking to a doctor about it. does anyone have any suggestions or know of any websites that relate to this subject and could help me?

texas does not allow any form of medical marijuana. but. it is possible to live in texas and smoke pot to relieve stress. just with the added danger of mandatory arrests. i live in houston and i did a week in jail for half a gram. so balance risks and benefits and if you do intend to use it medically google should be your ally to match your symptoms to the correct strains. it can be used to treat a very wide variety of illnesses including depression and anxiety. the legal route would be to see a psychiatrist. i see one because i go a bit crazy from stress sometimes and they're mostly friendly and really help you but personally, i still smoke to keep from pullin my hair out. its just a risk v. benefit game
