Are electronic cigarettes safe?!

I never could get them to light properly.

Well, electronic cigarettes are way safer than inhaling tobacco all the time with its 4000 chemicals including tar that gunks up your lungs and many known carcinogens. With electronic cigarettes you are inhaling basically water vapor with, depending on what you choose to include with the cartridges, nicotine and/or flavorings. The flavorings probably do not have enough study on them to determine health effects in the long term, and of course nicotine is addictive. But are electronic cigarettes safer than tobacco cigarettes? I would stake my long term health smoking vapor and nicotine/flavorings if I had the choice. Really its not that difficult to understand. Just my opinion.

Shoddy electronics is a valid concern.
Getting the nicotine dosage wrong is a valid concern.

There is NO smoke, NO tar, and NO carcinogens. They do are NOT more dangerous than regular cigs, and every chem in the ecig is already in regular cig smoke.

There is no combustion, so no smoke, no tar, no chemical reaction.

I would love for you to prove how they are more harmful than regular cigs.


They are a HUGE improvement over regular cigs. However, no, I would not advise anyone who is not already a smoker to start with these. That would be stupid and cause an addiction where you dont already have one. These serve best as a function for those who are already addicted and having a hard time quitting to get something that isnt as bad as regular cigs.

Cigarettes what kind it may be are never safe. Smoking by any way is danger for health.

The fumes from the melting plastic really bothered me.
