If you're offering the info that you're '24 yrs old and a freshman in college' as the reasons 'for and/or against', I am very much of the opinion that it's not right for you.
On a more serious note, though, if you're 24 yrs old and you're still wondering if it's right for you, it's probably not - because it would seem that you are not sure WHAT you want to study.
If science is your 'thing', is there a generalist science course that you can take for the next year, so that you don't rule out the possibility altogether, but you have more time to consider what, exactly, you DO want to do?
Becoming a doctor is right for you if you have the passion and drive to help people. If you doubt it, you may not want it.
