What is required to take someone to the doctor?!

Question: What is required to take someone to the doctor?
My girlfriend has had a UTI for the past few days, and despite her peeing blood and being in pain her mother refuses to take her to the doctor. Im certain that her mom will not do something about it, so i have taken it upon myself to make sure that her own daughter is healthy. Ive never filled out paper work or anything like that, so i was wondering what i would need. if it helps she is 17, im 19, and she has medicaid.

Your girlfriend's mom is putting her daughter's life in danger. Just take her to a clinic and they'll sort you out.

She is 17 so technically still a minor, but they won't refuse treatment. They will notify her mom. Make sure they know that she wasn't taking her to the Dr. so that the appropriate measures will be taken.

PS the first person is thinking of an IUD not a UTI... so ignore those comments that don't make sense.

My god, is she part of some religious CULT or something?
Jeez. She's playing with her daugther's life. Anyone over age 14 can go into any medical clinic and if they are dying/in extreme pain/blood coming out of them get medical treament.
This is the United States of America! Not some backwater Hellhole where parents can make their children their slaves.

You should go to the doctor alright------to get that thing out for good.

That device actually causes abortions as the joining egg and sperm (the unborn child) ends up dying in this horrible contraption.
