Is maggot therapy used in United States?!


Question: Is maggot therapy used in United States?
I heard it is used as an alternative for people dealing with wounds or amputation.

yea ,they only eat dead flesh in a wound , they put the maggots on the wound and then cover it up
to contain them and then after a certain amount of time they replace them with fresh sterile ones until the wound is healed , I saw some show about it , oh I just found a video about it , so here is the link ,

Maggots and leaches are used by respected medical establishments, they just use medical maggots and medical leeches rather than just whatever vermin they find.

I think so. Cant remember where exactly. I think in Miami they use it all the time. Sorry I cant be of more help.



I believe so. Maggots and leeches are supposed to be good for cleaning the blood.
