If you hate your life now, you will hate it a lot more when you develop an addiction, because then your life will never be your own. It will belong to whatever you are addicted to.

I have never been addicted, but one of my brothers has, and I have felt his agony as he was finally free from the addiction after his health was ruined.

Yees it is vert possilbe. I had a friend who died because he overdosed on over the counter drugs.
