Anti-depressants and weed?!

Question: Anti-depressants and weed?
I've heard it's really bad for you, but will I still have negative effects if I smoke occasionally while on anti-depressants? Will it make some of the side effects of the medicine worse?

Uhm... Don't smoke weed on anti-depressants. Either you get rid of the weed, or get rid of the meds if you don't want to kill yourself (metaphorically). It will be like a bad acid trip.

I've been on several different anti-depressants for most of my life on and off and the anti-depressant that makes smoking weed a good time is Lexapro. If you want to take your anti-depressant AND smoke ze ganja, ask your physician for Lexapro. It's not a controlled substance so I doubt the doc won't give it to you. Just add a couple reasons, like, your current medication makes you feel like your ugly and stupid when you skip a day. That's what I did.
