i wish i were a pill expert or something. so all i can say is stop taking pills!!! dont you want to live??

If the strength on your bottle says 5/500 then you are going to be alright. Each tablet contains 5 mg of Hydrocodone and 500 mg of acetaminophen (tylenol). The tylenol is what you want to be worried about and is the number one over the counter drug that is overdosed on. You took 1000 mg of tylenol...thats a normal adult dosage (like taking 2 extra strength tylenol). The MAX dose of vicodin (brand name for what you're taking) is 8 tablets in 24 hours. The medicine in tylenol is broken down in your liver, which is why it can be deadly if a person takes too much. Your liver can handle 4,000 mg of tylenol in 24 hours before you start to worry about liver failure. (A 14 yr old 114 lb can take an adult dose by the way)
Hydrocodone will make you sleepy and kind of loopy.

**If you need to take more, space them AT LEAST 4 hours apart**

People, seriously. Before posting answers on a health, and medicine related subject, know what you are talking about. They took 10mg of hydro and 1g of apap.....and you are telling them to seek medical attention???? makig them panic even more? which is correct above, why they were breathing dif in the first place. bc of panic. this is no where close to doing fatal harm. making ppl freak out more than they already are.

-_-

You're fine. Not even close to hurting yourself. The trouble breathing is from you panicking.

I would call your doctor and ask!!!! If u start to feel bad go to the ER!!! Be safe!!!!! Can u answer my question?
