Question: Why is there no cure for HSVT (1)?
ok so im one out of many who have the virus and its really irritating when the virus gets triggered due to stress or poor diets
but i want to know is there any cure for this virus at all? or will we have to live with it for the rest of our lives
i know there is medicine to help calm the virus down and relief the painful sensation of the blisters and may help speed up the healing process
but why is there no cure? is it like cancer and impossible to cure?

Viruses are tricky.
They use YOUR DNA to replicate. That is part of the reason why your immune system says "no, it's okay, that cell belongs here" when your immune system and a virus that has been living in you a long time, cross paths - in essence, the virus comes to know the secret handshake, and looks like the rest of the natives, so to speak. (One of the same reasons why cancer is tricky as well - they have the same DNA as you too - if viruses or cancer had DNA that was totally different than yours, this wouldn't be a problem)
Canker sores are certainly not the same as herpes, and canker sores can usually be prevented (to large extent) by switching to a non-flouride toothpaste.

I have a cure and it's very simple. For years I suffered with canker sores and it made my life a living hell. I would get a canker sore once a mouth. When one would finally heal, I'd get another. This went on for years... I know they are somewhat different from a cold sore. But this is what I did. I CHANGED MY DIET! I got rid of all processed sugars and stopped eating anything white. WOW! I have not had a sore in over three years. Why does the scientific community know nothing about this. I did this on my own without a degree in medicine. You can't tell me they know nothing about this. Processed sugar is my enemy. Try it and you too will know the cause.

There are all kinds of cures for cancer too -- just not in conventional medicine. And they'd rather you not know about it. Chemo and radiation treatments are just too profitable.
