What can 500 milligrams of Acetaminophen do to you?!

Question: What can 500 milligrams of Acetaminophen do to you?
Is it lethal? Will it make you pass out, or harm you, or just leave you a little 'out of it'?

Answers:

Not a darn thing.
I take 2 of those at a time for pain all the time, thats the dosage on the bottle.
2000mg at a time is getting up there though.
You probably won't feel anything but in dosages like that, it starts to damage your liver.
1000mg at a time(2-500mg.) is only recommended to take like 3-4 times a day for a limited time.
Tylenol does not make you feel "out of it". Its not that kind of drug.
You won't pass out either.
No over the counter pain reliever works that way at all. You can eat ibuprofen, acetaminophen or aspirin till the cows come home, they won't make you high.
They will KILL you though, in high dosages.
You can bleed to death or damage liver so bad you need liver transplant.

It might take away a headache if you're lucky....You should have taken two.

Acetaminophen is Tylenol and the normal dose is 1000mg...

You would have to take like 10 or 15 to start feeling sick...4 won't do anything.

It'll just take away your headache. I used to take 800 mg at a time for headaches when I used the stuff.

It is stressful on the liver and the kidneys. It may give you lower back pain.
