Try drinking lots of fluids like I did. Like so much it makes you pee constantly. Gargle saltwater for 30 seconds and just take medicine :) sadly you can't really cure it. It'll go away on its own
Try Echinacia(?). You can get it from GNC / Walmart etc. It is basically used to build and maintain your immune system, but when I have had a sore throat in the past I put about 30 drops into a small amount of water and gargle several times a day. Not an instance cure, but you will see a difference. Great for maintaining a strong immune system so you won't get the sore throats. Also, like another comment warm salt water and gargle really helps. Hope you feel better. Sore throats are the worst.

Oh, been there done that! Boil some water, add honey, and squeeze a lemon into it! It tastes really good when you are sick, and it's the best thing I've ever tried for a sore throat!!! Get better soon :)
