I haven't taken my usual 100mg of zoloft in about a week..?!

Question: I haven't taken my usual 100mg of zoloft in about a week..?
And I've been experiencing the most frustrating confusion I've ever experienced. My thoughts are totally jumbled, I've been feeling lightheaded most of the day, and I've been sleeping a lot more with these vivid unsettling dreams. Has anybody else experienced strange side affects to not taking their medication? (im an 18 year old female, btw who hasnt been previously diagnosed with anything, but ive been on and off zoloft since i was about 15 for social anxiety)

Also, ive been crying, no, SOBBING UNCONTROLLABLY. The other day I sobbed for two hours straight about my ex whom I just talked to because they're going through a terrible time. And I sobbed alot today in the shower, in my closet, just about these terrible negative thoughts I have about what a loser I am... what should I do? I can't stop the suicidal ideation, like I keep over thinking things and coming to the conclusion that I should just kill myself.

someone please tell me something. im so desperate for advice i have no one to talk to.

Hi,
You need to see a doctor right away. Once I did not take my Zoloft for 2 days (for anxiety) and I became SUPER stressed out, could not think properly, and had suicidal thoughts. Once I was taking my medication properly again, I got better and became more balanced.

Zoloft is a drug that affects the chemicals in your brain, and when your brain suddenly loses the drug, it goes through something like a withdrawal. When I went off Zoloft, I went off it slowly (about 2 months) with the help of my doctor.

I strongly suggest you see a doctor tonight (can you go to emergency?) or ASAP!
Take care of yourself, and talk to someone who can help you, or call an emergency line for kids or online website. One is http://youthinbc.com/

Call someone right away - someone you trust who can help you through this. Call your psychiatrist or your health care provider as soon as possible to let them know what's going on. The most important thing is for you to talk to someone that can help you right away.
