Hi Munchkin,

You didn't say how old you are:

* Around menopausal age? It could be menopausal symptoms
* Anxiety attack? It could be - back in 2009, what was happening for you - anything particularly stressful, or significantly life-changing? Ditto, now - anything significant? But anxiety attacks can come on without any apparent trigger.
* Thyroid (hyper - overactive)? Along with your other symptoms, do you seem to not put on weight, even if you eat a fair bit? Do you know if your blood pressure is low or high? Hyperthyroid symptoms can very much look like the symptoms of anxiety attacks.

I think it would be wise, and set your mind at rest, if you went to your GP and had some blood tests. That way, youu will get a definitive diagnosis.

What treatment path to take after that is your choice.

I'm a Naturopath

You may be experiencing anxiety and/or having panic attacks. Are you taking anything like energy drinks? Those could also be a cause if you drink a lot of them. I would get an appointment with your doctor to get checked out and make sure nothing is physically wrong. You may want to take some herbal remedies (catnip, valerian root, GABA are a few examples) that are calming or possibly even a prescription. You can also practice meditation techniques to keep you relaxed.
