Has homeopathy helped anyone to increase height?!

Question: Has homeopathy helped anyone to increase height?
There lot of homeopathic doctors who claim that homeopathic medicines like baryton carb , silicea ect help to increase height.

I am just wondering did it really work anyone above 18 or 20 .

Homeopathy is a total scam.

The only way it will make you taller is by standing on a box of it!

Your height is determined by your genes and the environment. You cannot change this without surgical intervention ie cutting your bones and physically altering them. Homeopathy whether it works or not is not the issue, but rather the fact that it cannot alter your genetic structure.

The growth plates of your bones are where the length comes from. Once they are closed, they are closed and you are done. This occurs in most people at about 20 years old. Once they are done growing, nothing can make them start again.

No.

After the epiphyseal plates have sealed (usually by age twenty), there is NOTHING which can initiate or stimulate further growth.

There *is* a cosmetic surgeon in Maryland who performs leg-lengthening procedures, but typically only for people with significant height impairment. Patients must remain wheelchair-bound for a year after the procedure, and the average height increase is about three inches.

No way. There are a lot of posts on here offering potions to increase height, prices from $99.99 to $400.
Don't fall for any of them, join a gym, buy some good clothes instead.
One of them has the cheek to put in their disclaimer...

Oh Nosey!! You are aware of a homeopath who makes such claims!! You know Soul Doctor, second from top answerer on this board and claiming to be a professional homeopath.

Just a few of his/her answers regarding homeopathy's ability to increase height:

There are many more, but I only have an hour for lunch.

So, Nosey. Going to denounce Soul Doctor as a fake?

Oh, to the asker - please ignore the answers from SD that I've linked to, they are of course nonsense.

Now, you ignore the naysayers here. I have been conducting my own experiments.

I split a bunch of tomato plants between two groups. One group I treated with a homeopathic solution and the other group I didn't. Group A (the treated group) grew very well and I expect to be able to plant them out next month, Group B (the untreated group) withered and died.

Homeopathy contains no active ingredients - its a placebo only so no, it has not helped anyone increase their height. In any case, people in the age range 18-20 who may still be growing naturally have no way of determining if anything they took to increase height actually worked or not.

No. I am not aware of any professional Homeopaths who would make that type of claim. Homeopathy can assist in situations where there is failure to thrive in newborns and young children.
It would never be marketed as a "height enhancer".
