What are some non-prescription alternatives for alleviating symptoms of adult AD!

Question: What are some non-prescription alternatives for alleviating symptoms of adult ADD?
I was diagnosed with adult attention-deficit-disorder about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, I no longer have insurance or means to pay for my ADD medication. Are there any alternative supplements/remedies I can take to help with this? My work performance is suffering because it is hard to focus about 95% of the time. Aside from therapy (which isn't working out so well either, due to lack of funds/insurance) what can I take that would help? Also I'm not sure if this affects anything, but I am a vegetarian so please no recommendations that I eat meat or take fish oil to "magically" cure me. Thank you for your help!
Note: PLEASE NO ADS OR LINKS FOR ONLINE PHARMACEUTICALS!! I AM NOT INTERESTED!!

a) those ads are spammer bots, not people
b) your body can take the fats in flax seed oil and make the fats in fish oil, so try the flax oil
c) Phosphatidyl serine might be worth a shot, as would bacopa moneri.
d) I'm not sure and (don't have the time to look this moment) - I don't think either of those two were studied in adult ADD populations specifically, but they have been studied in other populations with attention problems (specifically the elderly - one of the reasons why they have such a hard time with memory is because their attention takes a hit) and that is why I say it's worth a shot. No, it isn't going to be anything like medication, the effect is going to be small and cumulative. That's the best thing alt med has going in that area.
Good Luck.

Generic Adderall? is about $1/tablet if you pay out-of-pocket. Is that too expensive for the multitude of benefits it provides?
