Go with a real drug or something. I thought I could get a cool high on it too, I took like 10 in a row and it just gave me a little dizziness, stomachache, but I thought of things a little more pleasantly, but it was almost killed because I was afraid I would OD.

Just because you are going to take Ritalin (methylphenidate) does not mean you will experience ANY "high."

When people take controlled substances (eg., amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, opioids) for a legitimate medical problem they typically don't experience much of a "high."

In addition methylphenidate is not exactly known for its euphoric properties. It does typically cause people to feel more alert, awake and with a reduced need for sleep, most people describe enhanced concentration (especially when focusing on details), people may have increased self-esteem and self-confidence, some have increased sociability and loss of inhibitions, reduced appetite is common, and euphoria is also reported by a SMALL MINORITY of people prescribed methylphenidate.

Anxiety, irritability, agitation, dry-mouth, and especially headache are some of the most common side effects although they do typically dissipate (as do most pleasant effects).

There is not a lot to watch for although it is best to be cognisant of how it is effecting your ADHD and side effects.

As long as you stick to the prescribed dose, which typically ranges from 10-90 mg day (doses above 45 mg/day are seldom needed), you will likely tolerate the effects well and find it helps your ADHD.

Most people only experience euphoria if they abuse the drug and take larger amounts than are prescribed.

I take Ritalin SR and an amphetamine for narcolepsy and I have never felt high from either drug.

first of all the whole point of ritalin is to calm you down so you can focus and keep your attention like a normal person. it is unlikely to make you high as you call it, unless you had a reaction to it and it did the opposite of what it's meant to do. also do some ADHD research on the web, there are things you can do in terms of your diet, what you eat, changes etc, that can help.

well i have never used it myself but i can tell you what high is
there are diffident feelings you get from different things say pain killers given to your by your doctor makes you feel drowsy you wanna fall asleep
other drugs make you feel you are floating
some make you feel everything is spinning
it depends on its afect on you

Before you take drugs you may consider some other more natural means, as drugs usually don't cure, they just help you with some your symptoms but add another symptoms. Such a strong drug should be your last resort. Look at this report...
