She surpassed the maximum number of pills to take in a day but not enough to really do anything except stress the liver a little. The only symptoms she might have are a tummy ache and possibly throw up. Tell her not to do that again because there is nothing to gain, no high, and you can't kill yourself taking Ibuprofen and she needs to talk to a psychiatrist if that was her intention.

Your friends a dumbass, whats the point of takeing ibroprofen for pain? Thats killing his liver... Its Toxic once it reachs over 4000mg. Tell your friend to find heaver pills that are cut with other drugs like codeine or morphin. he would be alot safer that way. Make sure you check on him, he should have a hard time pissing because his kidneys are basically dying right know.

I don't know about symptoms or time frame. I do know that a lot of ibuprofen can seriously damage your liver.
