what vitamin should i take?!


Question: What vitamin should i take?
im 21 years old.i weigh only 90 pounds.its hard for me to gain wieght.

A good multiple would be a good place to start, but the answer really depends on what your body is lacking or what benefits you're looking for. Are you looking for something to help you gain weight, just something to be healthy, or something entirely different?

If you're looking to gain weight, talking to a dietitian is really the safest way... that way, you can work with them to set up a meal plan and exercise regiment to help you gain weight. I was personally able to gain about 15 pounds of muscle just by starting a Tae Kwon Do class and exercising, plus taking protein powder to help rebuild the muscle during that time. A dietitian can definitely see what options are available to you for this, too.
Also, to note, the WORST way to gain weight is just to eat more... it's moreso eating the right things to gain the weight to make sure you're getting more of the healthy stuff.

If it's for general health, a good multi is a good place to start, but you may also want to consult a nutritionist or dietitian about that to see what other nutrients may be helpful for what you're looking for as well.
