If I boil my herbal infusion, will it lose it's benefits?!

Question: If I boil my herbal infusion, will it lose it's benefits?
I'm wanting to make a herbal infusion with Burdock Root, Horsetail, Coltsfoot, Marshmallow, Rosemary, & Slippery Elm. I'm using part of it to create a hair moisturizer, and part of it to create a gel. With making the gel, I have to use flaxseed's, but I also have to boil it in water, which I wanted the water that was going to be boiled along with the flaxseeds to be my herbal infusion. But if I boil the herbal infusion (even though I know I have to boil water in the first place to make the herbal infusion), will it lose all of it's benefits?

SN: These herbs are supposed to help ease detangling, impart shine, condition, strengthen, moisturize, and soften my hair. So would it lose all of these benefits once boiled?

Answers:

Herbs like dried flowers and leaves are usually just infused or soaked in hot (newly-boiled) water to get their health benefits.

The ones that are boiled are the harder ones to extract like the dried bark and seeds.

Boiling the flowers and seeds may have some effects that cancel out the beneficial properties of their essences.
