Hello i have been on this medication for three days now and it looks like my face is peeling off. Im a 16 year old female with mild acne and this is what the doc gave me. Does sulfameth make you peel? only my face is peeling, is that because the meds know that's where the bacteria is?

yes thats normal, just about any acne medication will make your skin dry and possibly peel. If its a problem you should talk to your doctor and he might have you use something else with less severe side effects. I wouldnt recommend accutane. Not a lot of doctors will even give it to you because it can be rather dangerous. If you only have mild acne definitely don't go for accutane. Try using some moisturizer and if you really have to talk to your doctor about switching meds
