Aleve and nyquil.....?!


Question: Aleve and nyquil.....?
Is it ok to take aleve and nyquil 2 hours apart? I have a cold.

Yes, it should be okay- BUT make sure Naproxen is NOT and active ingredient in the Nyquil. Nyquil generally doesn't have Naproxen in it (or any other anti-inflammatory), but always best to double check. Also- MAKE SURE the Aleve is pure Aleve (meaning, not Aleve Cold and Sinus).

Basically compare the active ingredients in both medications and if you see something that's present in both, don't take them together- ask your pharmacist.
