What can i use to treat my symptoms?!

Question: What can i use to treat my symptoms?
Ok..so i have been sick for the past three days. First day i knew i was getting sick because my body felt like someone took a bat to my arms and legs! Sore! 2nd day runny nose/sinus feelings/dry mouth/dry lips/headache/a little sore...3rd day, today, My head feels numbs, temples feel like they are bruised, eyes sore/watery/burning, nosy runny still clear, mouth water, lips dry, headache, nose is sore from blowing, dried mucus on outside of nose, one side of nose super plugged and it seems like every noise is making me mad. I'm taking antibiotics but at this time i really can't afford to see a doc for another week, so does anyone have a suggestion about an over-the-counter medication i can use??? Or a home remedy, anything that will help will help me tuns!!Thanks!

My mom swears by using a netti pot for congestion. I've never tried it. It looks like it would make you choke, but she says it's easy to use and it works wonders. It's just warm water with some herbal stuff in it that you pour through your nostrils. You can get it in a drug store OTC.

I am currently ridiculously sick as well, and I'm taking recommended doses of:
Dayquil
Zinc and Vitamin C pills
Multivitamin
and Nyquil when I go to sleep.

Why are you taking antibiotics for what sounds like a cold or a flu? Don't ever take "leftover" medication, or medication that was prescribed for someone else....

You are simply making the bugs more resitant to antibiotics - not killing them - colds/flu aren't killed by them in the slightest. (Not to mention you could be just waiting to give yourself a yeast infection)

Other than NOT taking the antibiotics, I would suggest a bag of Hall's cough drops in the dark blue bag (I think they are called breezers) - AND the regualr Halls, alternate them - - and a bottle of saline nasal spray - - and whatever OTC medication you like, because they are all a combination of pain killer, fever reducer, decongestant, and antihistamine.
