Question: Possible Advil Cold & Sinus side effect?
I didn't get much sleep last night and the weather has been warmer than usual and usually the weather effects my sinus's so I had a head ache from not sleeping and my sinus's. I took an Advil cold & Sinus on an empty stomach (stupid, I know) and well when my head ache started to go away I started to get slight stomach cramps so I ate a little bit of popcorn which helped the stomach cramping.
About 10 minutes later, I started getting extremely bad abdominal sharp pain cramps for about an hour. They felt like the gnawing stomach cramp, only in my intestines. It was an awful pain.
I do have a history of ulcers and having digestion problems but they havent been acting up for about 2 weeks. could all this sharp cramps be from that advil?

Answers:
Yes, it could be -- ibuprofen can irritate the GI tract (in multiple ways), especially if you already have problems. But if it's still acting up tomorrow or if it feels different from your usual indigestion, consider a doctor.
Tylenol products might be better choice for you than Advil.
