well normal range for TSH is between 0.3-3.0 so 0.5 is normal.
if that result is without medication then you don't need any medication cuz its normal.
if that result is WITH medication then the dosage that you're on is the dosage you should stay on.

there is no one particular dosage for one particular result cuz everyone's body is different and reacts differently to different doses.

i'm 24 and i've had thyroid problems since 2007. i've been taking synthyroid since 2009 and i've changed doses several times depending on what my TSH levels are.
