I'm confused how to cure Candida?!

Question: I'm confused how to cure Candida?
I've always thought the sugar and fruit is the cause for Candida, but lately I've been googling and alot articles came up that fat is the main culprit of Candida because it causes a insulin resistance for you to absorb sugar? Ok, so I've been on a no sugar diet the pass week but I started eating mcdonalds sausages and scrambled eggs which are high in fat, and my symptons seem to have gotten worst so maybe there is some merit about fat being the real culprit, I'm just all so confused, has anyone with candida been on the no fat, and consume as much fruit diet or the 80/10/10 diet as they call it?

Since you asked in the alternative medicine section, it is worth noting that the alternative concept of Candida infection is very different from real Candida infection.

In the alternative world the diagnosis is not made by a medical doctor, but either something one deduces from filling out questionnaires on the internet, or it is made by a practitioner of some kind of alternative medicine. The sugar idea is a main focus in the alternative version, but in terms of real candida infection it is pure nonsense

It is noteworthy that the alternatives don′t believe that any test done by a medical doctor will be able to detect the Candida, and that they don't always believe that anti-fungal medication will be of any benefit.

The fact that they don't believe that drugs that work against detectable Candida have any effect on "invisible" Candida should raise a red flag.

None of that is true.

Candida overgrowth is a completely fictitious condition invented by quacks to sell supplements and books. You will not find any reports of this "disease" in the medical literature. Actual Candida infections are always mucous membrane or skin infections, unless you have a severely compromised immune system, where systemic candiasis is a possible.

A fungus cannot cause insulin resistance. Your intestines absorb sugar long before it reaches your colon, where C. albicans resides. All those "diets" are utter nonsense and wouldn't do anything if this condition actually existed.
