Question: How long do the effects of Xanax 0.5 mg usually last?
And can it cause chest pain? When I took the pill I started panicking cause I'm not used to taking drugs to help with mental health. And I started getting pain in my chest, which I usually don't get when I have panic attacks. Has that ever happened to anyone? I took Xanax this morning around 7:45 and took the other half about 45 minutes to an hour later. Would it have worn of by now? Should I continue taking Xanax...?

I would definitely stop taking it.

it is common knoledge you can not increaseor decreasedose at your own.you should havetried this dose atleast fifteen days one at bedtime(`atleast one hour before bed time) see theresults than consult some expert to increase or decrease the dose.you just can not take anotherdose aftera while forwhat ever reasons. I have hearad first time chasit pain related with xnax looks irrelavent. best to take before bedso that when you get up you have a proper sleep.

Hello, I believe I answered one of your questions yesterday about xanax. And yes the effects have worn off by now, depending on your timezone. The effects should only last 3-4 hours, if that. I would still take it as directed by your doctor.
