Question: Is there a shortage or loss of interest in Chondroitin?
I was looking for another bottle of the Glucosomine Chondroitin suppliment I used to pick up at Sams Club. Now, the majority of the bottles do not contain Chondroitn. If I want that additive, I am looking at $20 for 200 pills. Much more than I paid in the past.
I know in the past there was a shortage of an ingrediant in my dog's Nutro, which I heard was the glucosamine. so I though that maybe this was a similar issue.

I believe that more and more people are becoming aware that chondroitin doesn't do them any good. So, I'm going with loss of interest. I have found that a super healthy diet and fish oil caps along with plenty of exercise has helped my joints more than those glucosamine/chondroitin supplements.
