my friends planning on buying Primo marajuana, is it safe?!

I need to tell him the risks (if any) before he buys it, im fine with him smoking normal marijuana since that's harmless but him and I are not too sure about something laced with coke. is it addictive? is it more obvious than a normal high? I would love to hear past experiences too.
