Tylenol #3 (codeine/acetaminophen) 30/300 -although in Canada it also has 15 mg of caffeine. The maximum dose of acetaminophen at a time is 1,000 mg and the maximum daily dose is 4,000 mg. Thus you have taken 1,200 mg of acetaminophen, exceeding the maximum dose. By taking two more you would be at 1,800 mg of acetaminophen. Taking two more tablets will bring the codeine dose to 180 mg (equal to 27 mg of morphine).
That much codeine is unlikely to have any additional benefits in terms of either analgesia or recreational effects.
The dosage guidelines indicate that 1-2 tablets may be taken every 4-6 hours.
It is impossible to say what dose will require you to go to hospital. It may be that you take too much codeine and you collapse and are unable to get help.
To answer about if you can taken two more safely, all I can say is that you are FAR exceeding dosage guidelines and thus it is unpredictable what will happen. Due to so many variables and the exceeding of proper doses no it is not at all safe to take two more.
If you are in true pain you need to talk to your doctor about other pain medications.
