Question: Which antibiotics are prescribed for bladder infaction in men?
first of all i am 18 yrs old male,i had uti, doctor gave me ofloxacin 200mg and citric acid syrup for 1 week.... it gave me relief so, he discontinued to give more medicines, now i am suffering again frm uti, i took ofloxacin 200mg again one week ago, it didnt work so much for me...
my urine is stinky and cloudy..which antibiotics are best for me?

You need to go back to see your doctor because first of all the antibiotics you need can only be obtained on prescription.

Tell him that they are not working and see what he suggests as an alternative, doctors in general don't like to be told what medicines to prescribe, but being that you asked, the best antibiotic for UTIs is Gentamicin.
