Do cardiologists work in the ER?!

Question: Do cardiologists work in the ER?
Like not work in the ER for their whole life, but do they work in the ER at all, even if it is for a few hours a day?

Answers:

Generally the doctors in the emergency room specialized in emergency medicine, which would certainly cover cardiovascular events.

Once a patient is stabilized they are moved to the appropriate department, where thwy would see cardiologists proper.

Not really, no. Generally a patient is brought in, we stabilize them, then move them on to the appropriate unit. In some cases they are taken straight to CCU.

Doctors and Nurses that hang out in the ER are (or should be... if you work in the NHS you will know why I paused!) trained in emergency medicine.

Er..Tink are you ok? Spelling and grammar problems? Thats not like you, -thats my thing! lol

Are you drunk yahoo-ing? Although it's a bit early for that. Sorry I haven't been in touch. You know I miss you though.
