Gargle with warm salt water or with aspirin dissolved in warm water. Do either three times a day. You could alternate treatments. Anything is to
put a damp wash cloth or towel in the freezer to chill it. Put it around your throat and hold it there with plastic wrap. Some say if you can fall asleep like this, it will cure any throat infection.
