Both the zinc and the aloe does give some help. So is the Echinacea, but only in high intake. Do take the 5.000 or 10.000 three times a day*. The use of liquid Astragalus and Andrographis is also very helpful. Your cold which normally goes for 7 days is cut down to three days only, with much lighter symptoms.
*Equivalent to 5g -10g of fresh echinacea angustifolia and purpurea.

Nothing really, vitamin C won't do anything and neither will zinc. If it's just a cold antibiotics won't help either. The best you can do is manage the symptoms with over the counter cold and flu medication from a pharmacy, try nasal irrigation to clear the congestion. If it gets worse or doesn't improve soon, see a doctor.
Grab a bottle of Raw, unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar (Bragg's brand, you should be able to find it in the natural & organic section of your grocery) Take 3 tea poons a day. Cures EVERYTHING!!!!
Also, pick up some UMKA for cold & flu. It's all natural- no added flavors, sugar, or anything
No more to add as far as dealing with a cold you already have is concerned, but taking a regular dose of vitamin D as well as vitamin C will boost your immune system and help you to stay clear in future.
increase your intake of zinc..its in alot of over the counter drugs...or get Vick's vapor rub, slather on the bottom of your feet, and put on a white pair of socks. When you go to sleep, keep them on an don't take them off. Really works! Feel better!
why would you want to goto the doctors for a cold? Antibiotics don't work for colds.
Just stay in and wrap up warm for a couple of days, you'll get over it. Take some paracetamol for aches and pains
Aloe gel caps are great. They are the only thing I know that works with a viral condition.
eat a banana and drink water
