Help me with my hairloss nightmare.?!

Question: Help me with my hairloss nightmare.?
I'm a 25 year old woman and last year I lost about 50% of my hair within the space of 4 months. One year later and it just seems to be getting gradually worse. I'm not losing hair anymore but it does not appear to be growing back. it is especially thin in patches at the back where sometimes I experience pain. I saw a dermatologist before he said it was due to stress and dermatits but I eat well, exercise and look after my scalp. I'm starting to get extremely upset of this its beginning to get hard to kind my almost bald patches. It's really unfair I have not started my career yet or found a partner now I feel like this might become impossible. What do I do?

Sorry to hear about you hair problem, it sounds like your hair is falling out due to stress, but there are things you can do to help aid new hair growth. Viviscal is a food supplement containing 100% natural ingredients which provide specific nutrients to nourish the follicles from within, helping to prevent thinning and encourage existing hair growth. A diet rich in protein is ideal, take a look at this diet plan which combines a healthy eating plan with a daily supplement. http://tinyurl.com/2uwgv2b hope this helps

My hair got very think and long when I was pregnant, and about four months after I had the baby it started falling out in mass. I was shedding like mad, big patches. I probably lost half of my hair in about two weeks time. I was told this is completely normal. It has to do with the female hormones. Your hair loss could also be related to hormonal changes. Perhaps you've started or stopped a birth control program? Perhaps you've simply experienced some hormonal shift for other reasons? It's just a thought, but the person who said see a gyn might be right.

This is a delicate thing for us females. I used to have thick hair but now I am older it is thinning but do not have any patches. Go and see a different dermatologist. It may be that you have to wear a wig but do not get depressed about it just think of the people who are worse off than you. Your boss does not need know you are wearing a wig if it is a good one as for your partner when you find one, if your partner really loves you, loss of hair will not be an issue. Good luck.

Oh you can certainly lose hair due to stress - however, when the stress is over, it should start to grow back. I would say you need a general physical to rule out other things that could be causing it.

Where I live we have all kinds of beauty supplies that sell wigs. Plenty of women - I assure you, plenty of women - wear them. It might be worth trying a few. You know how the perfect shade of lipstick makes you feel? Seriously, please consider it if it is affecting your confidence so greatly.

Hi Cookie Poo :-)

it seems something had happened in your organism and the hair-loss is only the reaction to it. There could be more reasons, of course. What I had in mind instantly when reading your question were two things:

1) Hair growth is connected to our intestine conditions. Sometimes it happens that you eat something that triggers a wrong bacteria type in your bowels. You may not even notice that, maybe you just have a diarrhea, or irritated bowels, just feel strange in your belly. What really happens is that the wrong type of bacteria is spreading out and cause for instance a state that you don’t digest needed vitamins and minerals. It this is taking too long, the secondary factor could be a hair-loss.

If this could be the case, I would recommend to get on a diet for about a week, when you will eat only whole grain rice and raw onion/leek/garlic for your breakfast and lunch. Your dinner should contain strictly no sugar, no diary, no meat. Ideally rice and vegetable.

It sounds terrible, but it is worthwhile. Once I had a food poisoning, doctors were helpless and this really helped me. Sounds terrible I know but you may take a few days off for this and chill out at home.

2) Very often the hair growth is also connected to hormones and hormonal imbalance. You may not even know about that is the symptoms might be hidden. I would certainly recommend you to check out the symptoms of ovarian cysts (in below is site where you will find a list of symptoms) and then visit your gyno to see if she/he finds anything.

There could be other causes of course. You mentioned stress - that is something that can cause nearly anything... I would get checked at GP, get some blood tests maybe, just to make sure that there is no deeper problem causing it.

Meanwhile and any time, excellent to support a hair growth is Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil. It is a vegetable oil obtained from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. You can get it in a health store or online. Do NOT eat it! Just apply it on the top of your head, you can do it in the evening and wash is off in the morning. While applying, gently massage your head. You can use is for your eye-lashes too.

Fingers crossed to you and hope you will be better soon!

I hope this would help you!
