co codamol 30/500 / dihydracodeine ?!
Question: Co codamol 30/500 / dihydracodeine ?
and it says its only 7.46mg. instead of the 30/500 cocodamol. is the one in the link a non prescribed one due to it being low MG.
Basically, if i try that. will it have the same effects as co codamol? or maybe not as strong. has anyone taken it that can give me some advice. thanks
Answers:
No they are not. Both are less than ideal analgesics, being addictive and causing severe constipation if used chronically. Stick to paracetamol or you can add an NSAID such as ibuprofen if you have no contraindications.
GP for more years than I care to remember
please do not use either of them, i was prescribed both of them over a 20year period and became addicted to them to the stage i could not stomach any food and started collapsing,my new doc gradually got me off them over a 6 month period, and i have never felt better
