i'm looking for health secrets?!


Question: I'm looking for health secrets?
I'm going through this phase where I wanna learn as much as i can about health secrets. I was talking to this one girl about digestive enzymes, spices, vegetables and other things that most people dont know about when it comes to health. however, time was up and i didnt get to learn as much from her as i wanted to. anyone know any really cool sights that would 'blow me away'? :)

Google didn't help me out much. There were just sights about vitamins, broccoli and all the basics lol ... but i wanna know about the other health stuff!

Ok, I'm game. Here is a little odd-ball fact about your health that kinda flips people out....

Much of your body is not 'classically' alive according to the basic principles of biology. For example, according to biology, a cell needs to be able to come from a cell like itself, and give rise to a cell like itself. Blood cells come from cells in the bones (which are nothing like them) and cannot replicate ~ therefore, not alive....

Freaky, hunh?

Goes to show they might want to re-write those 'rules' if you ask me
(and I'm only adding that so you don't have nightmares)

Look, everything is is pretty simple, there are no "secrets", I just thought I would share something cool.



1) You can lose weight eating pretty much anything, just as long as your daily caloric intake doesn't reach/surpass your daily caloric expenditure.

2) Homopathy is worthless.

3) "Synthetic" molecules are 100% identical to their "all-natural" counterparts.

4) You don't have a meridian, energy field or chakra(s).

5) Water is inorganic, and it doesn't have a memory.

6) Your body doesn't have a pH value.

7) If it did have one, it wouldn't be altered by what you ate.

8) And if it were, altering it would most likely be a bad thing.

9) Herbs are good for spicing up soups, salads and other edible fare. They *don't* treat cancer, or much of anything else.

10) Medical progress comes from laboratories and research facilities, not senile mystics piddling around on some mountain in Tibet.

Your question is a little 'non-specific' - I'm not sure what you are really wanting to be directed to.

There are no 'health secrets' as such - but there are many things people don't know about how their body works (e.g. what exactly is blood sugar, and what does it do - and where does insulin fit into that picture)

Is that the sort of thing you're wanting to explore?

Perhaps if you provide some detail about what you discovered from the 'one girl' it might be clearer exactly where you want to be directed.



Any "health secrets" you read about are based on unsubstantiated hype.

Eat mostly fruits and vegetables, exercise regularly, and get an adequate amount of sleep. That's all you need to know.



When you see the term "health secrets", be skeptical. It should always be a red flag for scams and quackery. Medical science does not keep beneficial health knowledge secret. Seek the evidence.
