They're used for differentiation ("Wow, those blue dolphins were amazing! Even better than the Mitsubishis!") and just plain fun.

Its to identify different batches of tabs. they have the stamps to place on batches like "yellow mistubishis" and when people here that they know double stacked mesculin dropped speed based tabs. People really into the drug community will know what type of tabs are going through town and what each does. pokeballs, mickeys, and playboys are very common stamps typically put on the top 3 stamps in tabs that people know (well from my experience) they even have some tabs that are SHAPED like bart simpsons head and stuff like that. those are the most potent of tabs ive found out. 1 of those is better than 5 of other kinds. Its for identification.

Tabs also USED to be color coded by what base they were, like blues were almost pure MDMA, greens are heroin based, red were meth, but now its all mixed and matched its hard to know what your getting unless you hear from people that just did them.

Another problem is sometimes ppl sell awesome batches of pokeballs so someone goes out and makes a batch of bunk pokeballs and everyone buys them thinking theyre gonna be awesome but all it is is caffeine or something. good way to juice druggies out of money
