What is it like to be an anesthesiologist?!

Question: What is it like to be an anesthesiologist?
tell me about your job as an anesthesiologist.
how was the schooling before you got the job?
what hours do you work and when are you on call?
what is you salary, r how much do you get an hour?
what is the average amount of hours you work per week?

Answers:

Schooling: You have to complete medical school, and then specialize as an anesthesiologist. You have to handle stress perfectly, during school and during your whole career.

Hours: Will vary if you are working in the private or public field. If you work in an hospital, odds are that you will often be on call in addition to your regular hours. If you work in a breast enhancement clinic, odds are that you will not be "on call" more than once or twice during your whole career. The number of hours will also vary depending on multiple factors.

Salary: Will vary depending on where you practice. It is different from a country to another, and also from a province to another. Anesthesiologist are among the best paid doctors... but they are also charged the highest malpractice insurance premiums.

i wanted to become on and did a little research and i know they make over 300k a year.
the schooling is really difficult. take a 4 year college and major in anything you want but complete the pre med courses. maintain a 3.7 gpa. take the mcat and get a good score. then 4 years of med school. then 2 yr. residency.
