Remedies to help you sleep (no medicine or drugs)?!

Question: Remedies to help you sleep (no medicine or drugs)?
Answers:

Make sure you sleep in a cool room! Don't leave your cell phone on your nightstand. Leave it in the kitchen so that way you're not tempted to stay awake and check your phone. Do not take naps during the day. Dim the lights 30 min-hour before you go to bed. Hope that helped!

There are many possible reasons why you cant sleep.

Some people are helped by taking adrenal gland supplements to get cortisol regulation back into the normal swing. Others use herbs such as Valerian to help with sleep without the negative side effects drugs like Ambien can cause.

Completely natural and even more passive approaches such as making sure the room is completely dark, quiet or has a soft white noise generator can be very helpful. Perhaps starting a new exercise program tomorrow will make tomorrow night's sleep better.

If you would like to give more specific clarification as to why you cant sleep, perhaps I could help further.

Here's a few natural sleep remedies that some people have found useful: maintain a consistent sleep schedule, get plenty of exercise, only use your bed for sleep, try magnetic therapy, try using herbal remedies (valerian root, chamomile, lavender), or try taking melatonin.

Make sure your room is as dark as possible. Only use your bed for sleeping or sex (No TV). Eat a meal at least three hours before you go to bed so you are not awakened by hunger but it has time to digest. Try a white noise device if sound wakes you often. Try sleeping in different positions. Lower the temperature of the room a few degrees. Take a relaxing bath before bed. Also, many times people fail to fall asleep because their mattresses or pillows are worn out. Try replacing those.

music, moderate exercise earlier in the day, warm shower, turkey, sex, masturbation, boring movies, assignments...the list goes on
