Question: Immediate need to poop after accupunture?

I just got acupuncture for the first time today in my arms, hands, stomach, forehead, and lower legs. I had pretty much held in all my... waste for about 5 hours. Immediately after she took out the first needle from my stomach, there wasn't any Qi moving. Just crap. A ton of it went straight down. Is this normal?

Acupuncture has no known effect on the body, so it's impossible for it to have led to your bowel movement. More likely, it was a coincidence. You are likely making the error in logic of post hoc, ergo propter hoc.
