Question: Safe alternative to cutting?
i haven't cut yet because im too scared. what is a safe alternative to cutting to help me release my pain & anxiety ? BTW im 13, girl

I have cut myself 78 times. I have the scars to prove it. I wish i could go back and change what i did. Yes, it made me feel better.. But not about myself.. lowered my self esteem and i started writing. i have 3 folders FULL of poems and stuff. It always makes me feel better, i also tired singing, dancing, listening to music... Rock cuz some had alot of anger i could just rock out too. Jogging works also. So does sitting out in public by yourself like in a random spot just observing the world and think of what you want to do, your biggest dreams, and what you think life is about.. Cutting is never the answer. Trust me, I've been there. You know in your head and your heart that you shouldn't do it, but it seems like it will help-that it will relieve some of the fear and pain and worry that you are feeling. But once you've done it once, it becomes very hard to stop. I would suggest blasting some music that you can relate to and just laying in bed and crying, because that's all you really need. You need comfort and to get the emotions out. This is probably the best way to do so. After, I would suggest eating a hand full of m&m's. Chocolate makes everything better. If you feel like you are in serious danger, however, you should talk to some one immediately.



DONT CUT YOUR SELF!!!! that aint no alternative to getting your pain away think about it all it does is give you more pain! what id say do is get into a bunch of series/ tv shows and just watch itll get your mind of things trust i know iv been there cutting aint worth **** its for cowards!!

exercise! it sounds dumb but it releases endorphines and you will feel great after. helps anger go away and anixety.
